Caterpillar with parasites... - Euplectrus

Caterpillar with parasites... - Euplectrus
Columbia, Boone County, Missouri, USA
August 16, 2007
Size: inch (cat)
Found on leaf of redbud tree... any ideas on what either the cat or the parasites are? The caterpillar fell off the leaf a minute later and the parasites seemed to be gone...

Cropping
Please, crop it. It is too valuable to go unnoticed when looking at thumbnails; the parasites are barely visible.

Moved
Moved from Eulophidae.

Parasitoids
These parasitoids are larval wasps, possibly in the family Braconidae or Eulophidae. It seems odd that the parasites would just dissappear. Here is an image with similar parasites .

Thanks.
I thought it was strange too...
