These little guys are so thin and dainty . I enjoy watching them hover around the flowers . Are they pretty common ? Thanks for any comment , sincerely Beth ... the shutterbug

This is a Paragus syrphid and
This is a Paragus syrphid and their larvae prey on root aphids, they are common all over the US.
