Maryland leafhopper on sycamore - Ponana puncticollis

A rather drab leafhopper along the Potomac River on sycamore leaves. May simply be a normally more colorful cicadellid faded with wear.

We were just leaving a comment about a Lepturine such as Analeptura

when this turned into a leafhopper!!
Never had that happen before???

Not sure what happened either. I also submitted a cicadellid, but not as an edit to the probable Analeptura. I'll see if I can resubmit.
