The male of N. californicus i
The male of N. californicus is not known at this point in time. Going on distribution records though I would be inclined to think this is either N. opacithorax or N. nigrescens the two most common southern California species of Neivamyrmex That is not to say this could not be N. californicus but we just dont know enough at this point. you can check out www.armyants.org for further
