Fremont, (N38°27.849'W111°36.475'ele7310'), Wayne County, Utah, USA
August 18, 2007
This species was busy tending Treehoppers on Chrysothamnus, and black aphids on Artemisia.

Moved
Moved from Formicinae.

Formica sp. (fusca group) - worker
A nice close-up showing well features of the thorax, to compare with Camponotus.

Appreciate
the ID. I'll have to post some Camponotus images, M and F winged and two sizes of workers.
