looks like a saddleback caterpillar. Don't touch it, though, they can sting!

Yup, saddleback caterpillar
Acharia stimulea (Wagner, 2005 pg 52). Nice find and great pic!

When I saw it, I thought it looked like it had on a fancy horse sheet. It looked like someone had made it up. I'm glad I left it on its leaf and didn't touch it.
