Orchesella villosa
Indeed.

Thank you!
I see these all the time, so your ID will be quite helpful in future. I'll find out as much as I can on this species!

Updated title
Updated title to a more generic ID, to make it easier to find.

Hypogastruridae maybe?
Looks like the right shape.

Not Hypogastruridae
If forced to guess, I'd guess something in this neighborhood:

Frans will know.

Orchesella maybe?

That's exactly what I suggested above
:)

Oops
Sorry, I am still getting used to this website. :P

Adding photos?
How did you add a reasonably sized photo w/ link to its respective page, as you did? Seems a bit clumsy to upload such a massive one. Thanks.

If you haven't already...
...you'll want to check out the information under the Help tab. There's a lot of useful information, including instructions for creating a clickable thumbnail.

Thank you! I will do this in future. Unfortunately, I cannot edit my comment, for I think it timed out for editing.

You can't edit it because I replied to it.

Oh
Thanks. Sorry about being a noob and not figuring things out quicker!

No problem
:)

Looks like it!
Looks like it to me! People keep metioning Frans, is there a way I can contact him directly? I am still getting used to this site. Thank you!

He'll comment before too long, but...
...if you just can't wait you might try his website.

Moved for expert attention
Moved from ID Request.

Frans, our springtail expert, will take the ID further.

Thanks for posting--and welcome to BugGuide!

Thank you!
Thank you! I really find BugGuide very helpful, so I am not exactly "new" here, but this is the first time I actually have made an account. I was suggested to post here by James Bailey from iNaturalist.org. I am excited for an ID! This guy was a side observation from some ant crickets I tracked down, but since they jump so much they are impossible to photograph, until this guy stayed still. Thank you for all your help!!
