Araneus nordmanni
Hi there,
This looks like Araneus nordmanni. They have two dorsal tubercules on the abdomen and have that distinct zig-zag on the top of the abdomen.
Have a great day :)

I just got a face picture this morning. I'm pretty sure it's the same spider, at least the same type. Back markings & shape were the same, but web was moved over to a new bush. (The old web from yesterday was gone)

I believe it is the same spider. I had it narrowed down to Araneus gemma or Araneus normdmanni. I am going off the abdominal markings and saying it is A. nordmanni. They are really cool because of those abdominal tubercules!

Many thanks! I've been trying
Many thanks! I've been trying to get a specific ID (better than "orb weaver") for a while! :)
