Catocala
This is either Catocala luctuosa or Catocala retecta. They are nearly identical. My opinion is that this is C. luctuosa. C. luctuosa is larger and lighter in color, and has a slightly greater distance between the PM and AM lines near the inner margin. Here is a side by side comparison. Very nice photo.
