Jumping spider / mettalic gold - Oxyopes salticus

Size: 1 cm
This jumping spider could leap a good foot straight up off the ground . It's golden sparkly abdomen caught my eye and the fact that it leaped out of the grass onto my arm . I have the black fuzzy jumping spiders here , but have never seen a golden one and am excited in getting an I.D. Thanks for any help , Beth ... the newbie shutterbug

Lynx spider
Thankyou so much Gayle . Wow , you are my idol ... your photos are so extensive and awesome . Today I wished that I could see a Lynx spider after viewing other peoples photos in the guide and to my surprise one jumped on me and I did not even realize that one of my wishes came true ! Thank you again for your awesome reply , now I am a bit wiser . Isn't it cool how the same type of spider can exist in another state so far away ! ... is this a common spider ? Thanks again for your expertise , Beth
