Cockroach nymph (Blattaria)

Cockroach nymph (Blattaria)
Medford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
August 23, 2007
Seen in a forest in the afternoon.

I would say cockroach nymph.
I would say cockroach nymph. Not sure which flavor though.

I've sinced looked in Stephen Marshall's book (1) and there is an image of a Small Yellow Cockroach (Cariblatta lutea) that looks quite similar to this. He states "Is common from North Carolina south to Florida and the Caribbean and ocassionaly turns up as far north as Ontario."

Thanks
Thank you Stephen for your research. As you know, there is no Bug Guide page for Cariblatta lutea at the moment. I had no idea this was a cockroach nymph of any kind -- interesting.
