Wolf spider, Lycosidae
Hi there,
This is a type of wolf spider. The eyes are telltale. Now, I'm not too sure on the genera found in Michigan, but I am going to guess its a Schizocosa or Hogna? Maybe a Michigan member can verify the ID, but it is indeed a wolf spider. They're really cool and harmless. Poor guy lost his two of his legs.
