Green Eyed Bee with Fuzzy Front Legs - Megachile

Green Eyed Bee with Fuzzy Front Legs - Megachile
Pacific Heights Neighborhood , Saskatoon and Area, Saskatchewan, Canada
June 29, 2017
Some assistance please identifying this little bee. It had striking green eyes and fuzzy white front legs.
I found it quite docile on raspberry bramble in my folks back alley. It was seen early evening and despite the sun it was cooling off quite rapidly in the shade fence line that the bramble was located. The bee was not actively pollinating, it was resting on the berries.
It was not to keen on being handled and flew away after a few minutes. Pacific Heights is a residential community in the small city of Saskatoon and there is lots of mixed vegetation from flower and vegetable gardens as well as flowering weeds. We are also only 4-5 minutes drive from the edge of town and large wheat and rye fields.
