That is just a statistical identification. Of couple Pardosa in Alabama that is common species. And they are common in damp habitat. And when I've compared pictures of several that I found along with this to the pictures of identified species - it was the match as well. I suppose certainty of ID is about the same as to compare anatomical features of Alabama common Pardosa spp. I am agreed with you, just explain.

How did you ...
determine species? Looks right, is likely but there are a lot Pardosa spp. making them a bit tricky at times to be sure of.
