Size: 5-6 cm
Observed on sage brush in the zone where the Eastern Sierra meets the desert (i.e, coniferous mountain forest to the west and Great Basin desert to the east). Elevation 7100 ft. Location was about 5 mi. NW of Mono Lake.

.... a species with much variation in coloration.
