Identification
Fronto-orbital bristles weakly developed, dorsocentral bristles weak, arista about equal in length as antennal segments 1-3 combined, prescutellar acrostichal bristles reduced, and males with fore tarsi expanded (Mathis & Marinoni, 2016). (1)
Third-instar larva with transverse sclerotized strap of third segment about 6 times as wide as long, the third segment also with posterior projection. (1)
