Size: ~2 inches tip to tip
not sure, i have always called them "leaf" moths..hard to spot unless you see them fly.

8574 -- Velvetbean Caterpillar Moth -- Anticarsia gemmatalis
First one that I've seen posted this year. They will be out in huge numbers with amazing variations for several months throughout the south and wandering northward.
