Bee Wolf - Philanthus multimaculatus - male

Bee Wolf - Philanthus multimaculatus - Male
Moses Lake, Grant County, Washington, USA
July 10, 2017
Size: ~.25"
There is the *possibility* that these two pictures represent different insects. I had my attention focused on several different subjects in the flowers. I looked away from this insect several times to take snaps of other varieties. That said, I *believe* these two photos are likely the same subject. The color was unusual.
