Tiny tusked moth - Aristotelia roseosuffusella

Tiny tusked moth - Aristotelia roseosuffusella
Alexandria, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA
August 27, 2007
Size: abt. 1/3"
This tiny critter caught my eye when I was scanning for another bug through the macro lens, so I grabbed him, too. Never seen a moth like this - what is it? What are the "tusks"?

"Tusks" = Palps...
... part of the mouthparts, and a many groups they are curled upward and backward when not it use.

Thanks
for the ID and the explanation! I've never seen palps like those before.
