Size: ~2 cm
Is this another species of Eumenes, similar to the other two I photographed recently . It looks similar to the first of these two thumbs. It only stayed long enough for one shot. Live oak/chaparral habitat.

Just lke you, I'm nearly sure this one is from the same species as the pale-yellow one (picture at left) you already posted. The golden-yellow one could be E. crucifer, but Dr Buck's expertise is needed.
