Spider Egg Sac

Spider Egg Sac
City Centre, Saskatoon and Area, Saskatchewan, Canada
July 22, 2017
We found this sac of silk attached too a green onion top at the Saskatoon Farmers market. We were not too sure what it was exactly so we gently removed it from the top and gently pulled it open to find eggs and few tiny spiderlings.

The onions were grown and harvested about 20 miles North East if Saskatoon in the R.M. of Aberdeen, SK in a large market garden with mixed vegetables and several neighboring quarters of wheat, rye and canola.
