Size: ~1cm length
Is this a Crambid moth, maybe a species in Pyrausta? My best guess. Walsh's site doesn't have too many images of these guys. Can anyone ID?

Might want to
expand your quest to the Geometers.
My first thought was Heterophleps triguttaria or its cousins.



Might want to consider the Digrammia genus also. They sometimes sit in this stance and have similar markings. I don't see a clear match on the MPG plates but it's another idea anyhow.
