I've been seeing dozens of Haploa moths recently in this area. It seems to me that at least three species are present, but their patterns seem to vary so I'm not sure. Do three or more species often occur together?

I think your ID is correct. In my experience in both east central and north central Minnesota, it is not uncommon to have multiple species concurrently.

Thank you! Given the variability I find these moths very confusing. Maybe a better genus name would be Rorschach.
