Size: 1 inch
It was just shy of an inch long. I found it in my pool.

Water true Bug (Heteroptera) - Belostoma sp.
Rather than their giant relatives Lethocerus, these bugs remind of Eurasian Naucoris and Aphelocheirus. Wings fully developped like in the first, Coackroach-like outline like in the second.
