Moved
Moved from Rove Beetles.

Upon the information,
provider from liptaster, see comments in lateral view of this specimen. I'm going to move tentatively to Lithocharis orchracea. Research using Hatch's Beetles of the Pacific Northwest suggest no other lookalikes. As per the already submitted L. orchracea from Nova Scotia this specimen should be in the subgenus Lithocharis. There is another subgenus listed from Hatch, Pseudomedon with a species within that of orchracea. But the Lithocharis Pseudomedon orchracea and the Lithocharis Lithocharis orchracea are different and are so described by Hatch.
