Small saline shore beetles - Vacusus confinis

Small saline shore beetles - Vacusus confinis
southeastern Salton Sea, W of Calipatria, Imperial County, California, USA
August 6, 2017
Common along muddy shores of saline pools, not far from the Salton Sea.

thanks, Don
Moved from Anthicinae.

Vacusus confinis
it is

saline environments have a rather rich anthicid fauna...
...at least in the Old World

most every full-winged anthicid species comes to lights, in my experience

Moved from Antlike Flower Beetles.

Moved from ID Request.

Anthicidae
.

looking at this again ...
Not one of the genera typically associated with saline environments. My guess is Vacusus, which does occur in the desert and will come to blacklight.

Thanks for the help!
Looks right to me.
