Black assassin - Apiomerus longispinis
Madera Canyon, Santa Cruz County, Arizona, USA
August 8, 2007
Size: ~ .75 in.
Enjoying an ant for lunch on the path. Pretty well-camouflaged on the pavement.

My guess is Apiomerus.
