Fly? - Tabanus
Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas, USA
A fly? Body length about 18 mm. Would appreciate ID if possible. Thanks for your help.

Yes, Tabanidae
just belonging to the genus Tabanus (very similar to the European T. bovinus)
