I found this in my yard and wondered what it was since I have lived here for 37 years an never seen anything like it before! Hope some one knows! Thanks!

It's an assassin bug of some sort. Awesome colors. Someone else, or myself should be able to narrow down species on that.

possibly Pselliopus cinctus? Almost certainly genus Pselliopus.

assasin bug
Thanks for your help! I'm sort of an amatuer digital photog, {very amatuer, lol!}, and i love to do macros and close ups of insects and spiders. It really helps to know what you've just taken a picture of, heh! Thanks again!!
