In my opinion that little black line on the hind wing makes this
. A very close call against P. santafealis.

Other marks point to P. jaliscalis
Although I think Ann is correct, I don't think that little black line on the HW is diagnostic for
P. jaliscalis
; it's a combination of several other aspects of the pattern here. The present moth matches Munroe's 1976 description of
jaliscalis
perfectly. Moreover, I am completely unconvinced that
P. santafealis
occurs outside of Florida and I have doubts about it's validity as a species (speaking only as an enthusiastic amateur). BOLD analysis has often lumped specimens which are purportedly
santafealis
,
jaliscalis
, and even
confusalis
and
fulicalis
sometimes. These are all closely related; the species descriptions all need to be seriously revised from the original literature.

Also, i have been unable to find a record of Petrophila santafealis in Oklahoma. P. jaliscalis is is included in John Fisher's Oklahoma Biological Survey moth list located here:

Bill, I don't feel comfortable moving this one to species. John actually comments here sometimes, so hopefully he will see this one and move it. I actually sometimes think I have P. santafealis here but have not confirmed one with DNA.
