You can really see the Mouse-like if you look!

Moved
Moved from Myopsocus.

What an impressive creature!
This is in Myopsocidae could be Myopsocus but it could also be Lichenomima. It turns out that Dr. Mockford is revising Lichenomima. I'm sure he would love this specimen if you have it in alcohol. I'm flying up to visi him in 2 weeks and bringing my Lichenomima specimens.

Some of my naturalist friends said that...
(...they cannot see the mouse until I directed them to look at the head! I have no clue how the family got its common name but you now know my guess!)

I'm sorry to say I don't think I have this one, though it is possible.

Also, I see now that I may have glossed over your comment about possibly being in Lichenomima! Sorry! I should add if this one is then so probably are the similar ones that I submitted in 2015. I will add thumbnails so they will be easier to find and move is the time comes.

, and:

I'm not 100% sure if you meant I should move this one to family level. I hope I did not sound like I would place my guess over your diagnosis! Anyway, I'm not sure whether you want the images moved, or are just saying don't be surprised if they have to be moved.

I am guided by your judgement!

Moved
Moved from Mouse-like Barklice.

I realize I am moving something beyond my knowledge level, but it is based on previously identified specimen.

Note to Diane. I did not realize this was the rare (two years ago) one. I did collect something but I don't think this was it. I still have to go through the rest of them though.

One I did collect was submitted before this.

I did not have confidence to move that one to the level I proposed, though.
