Bagworm Moth for ID 2 - Thyridopteryx ephemeraeformis - Male
Bartlesville, Washington County, Oklahoma, USA
August 29, 2007
Came to UV light near pond in wooded area of a floodplain.

Moved
Moved from Bagworm Moths.

Thyridopteryx ephemeraeformis
It appears to be Thyridopteryx ephemeraeformis. A better view of the hindwing would be helpful to be sure. It's surely in that genus, at least. I found a similar moth the same way in New Mexico. See discussion and commentary of photo 468313.
