I took this photo awhile ago, and was never able to get it identified. I'm guessing that's it's a true bug. Thanks!

Stink bug
nymph maybe a spined soldier bug, Podisus. Not sure, but it's a place to start.

I looked up the spined soldier bug, and found an exact match. It's a fifth instar nymph.
