strange lil' Fly - Medetera
Manteca, San joaquin County, California, USA

Size: about 1/4"
It is hard to get a good photo of it since it is so small . I usually hops about a foot away when I get too close . To me it looks nothing like the irridescent long legged fly , but I would love to know if it is related or totally different , thanks for the help in it's identification , Beth
