Another Acmaeodera tuti on Psorothamnus? - Acmaeodera tuta

Another Acmaeodera tuti on Psorothamnus? - Acmaeodera tuta
Mouth of Nine-Mile Canyon, northwest of Pearsonville, Inyo County, California, USA
June 20, 2017
Found on Psorothamnus arborescens var. minutifolius. Looks like Acmaeodera tuta, which I've posted twice before from different localities further northeast in Inyo County...once on Psorothamnus polydenius:

Stephen Cresswell indicates on this web page that A. tuta is recorded on Psorothamnus, among other plants.

Interesting that some of the present Acmaeodera tuta posts have a large, medial, red spot on the basal portion of the elytra (under the black masking pattern)...and others don't. Guessing that's just variation? Hoping Rick Westcott can confirm (or correct) my putative ID of A. tuta.
