I saw this orb weaver protecting it's prey.Once it saw me,it scuttled back into the bushes.Does the prey look like a stink bug?

Unsure
Hi Hema,
I believe this is actually a cellar spider. The legs are very long, and the body is elongated, like the common cellar spiders. I've seen them in my garden, as well. As for the prey, it is just too wrapped up in web to tell what it is. It would have had to have flown into the web, or somehow managed to crawl onto the non-sticky portions. It could be a lot of things!
Have a good day,
