Orb weaver spider?

Orb weaver spider?
Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, USA
September 4, 2017
Size: 2.5 inch
A spider (maybe this one, maybe a slightly later one) appeared every night for a few days, not present during day. Web would be left up all day. Last night, no web, no spider. Then this morning the spider in the photo appeared and stayed all day.

Moved
Moved from Orb Weavers.

Very difficult to get a definitive ID from a ventral image
It is an Orb Weaver in the genus Neoscona, and we would make a guess of crucifera, but that would only be a guess.
