Crane Fly - Nephrotoma occipitalis - female

Crane Fly - Nephrotoma occipitalis - Female
Guelph, Wellington, Ontario, Canada
August 10, 2007
Ontario datapoint. ID made by comparing specimen with Crane Flies of Pennsylvania images.

Hi Stephen
I misidentified this female crane fly earlier. It is not Nephrotoma virescens. It is Nephrotoma occipitalis. I failed to notice the dark triangular area between the eyes. New for the Bugguide - Chen

Thanks!
I see how it is now. Don't mind my comment below, think my laptop was being slow...

A different species?
