Came to UV lights where it was photographed by Rob Curtis (aka robirdman). He said to go ahead and post it for him. Size estimate based on tiny Corticarina sp. also seen in image.

This unusual-looking pythid species is restricted to southern Arizona. The larvae and host species are unknown. With this posting of Rob's image bugguide lacks just two species, Spha*lma quardic*ollis (known from west of Rocky Mtns.) and Py*tho strict*us, of having a complete family set for Pythidae.
