vivid spring-green leaf beetle - Diabrotica barberi

Size: about 5.5 mm
Taken by sweepnet from white roadside aster blooms. I was amazed at the vivid hue of this beetle, bot top and bottom. I've seen other corn rootworm beetles that seem rather washed out in the color department.
