Maybe a Walkingstick... - Ranatra fusca

I found this guy floating in my inground pool today around 4:30PM. I believe it's a walking stick, perhaps the Colorado Short-horned Walkingstick but since I live in Massachusetts I wasn't positive and wanted your expertiese

They look the same, but only
They look the same, but only because walking sticks and these insects both try to camouflage as sticks. In contrast to walking sticks, this insect is a true bug and has sucking mouthparts (walking stick has chewing) and is a predator while walking sticks are consuming only plants. And Ranatra normally lives under water and is a relative of the water scorpion (Nepa). Awesome insect, great for the home aquarium (except it eats small fish).
