This small moth was perched like a teepee. He was mostly light brown and white with black eyes. He had fringe around the border of his wings. also had four black dots on each wing, some of which were rimmed with blue.

Petrophila sp.
P. fulicalis seems the only likely Petrophila candidate, either visually or distribution. Eoparargyractis irroratalis appears a likely candidate, except the median area is not as "tight" (more white area between AM and shading) as P. fulicalis.

P. fulicalis
Thanks Robert. It looks a lot like both, Petrophilia fulicalis and Eoparargyractis irroratalis. It got me curious, so I started going through all the MPG plates. The one that seems the closest match is Eoparargyractis irroratalis, 800766 – 4785, especially the photo by Bob Patterson. Any chance it could be that one? I don't see a page for it on BugGuide.
