Oregon Bristletail

Oregon Bristletail
Wallowa Lake - Wallowa Falls Trail, Wallowa County, Oregon, USA
July 30, 2007
Size: 17-20 mm or so
I so very much appologize for the blurry pick, but I thought it might be worth noting the 2 big compound eyes touching each other (arrows) on this guy. I've got an old guide that is taxonomically out of date - it places critters like these in the family Machilidae. Does anyone have new info on the group?
