Anafroptilum asperatum
Hi Salvador-

Yes, I believe this female subimago to be Anafroptilum asperatum based on the hind wing venation.

Excellent!
Given that the wing venation is crucial for species ID, I am posting an image of a wing, but the specimen was dry and brittle and its wing was not in pristine condition.
I am thrilled to provide the first two images of this species on BugGuide.
Thank you Roger!!

Hind Wing Venation
It was the "hind" wing venation on which I based the species ID, not the "fore" wing venation.

There I go assuming too much
The rest of the bug is gone now. I'm hoping to encounter it again and image the hind wing to better document it.
