Range
Worldwide in tropical climates. In the US, FL-AL-LA(1); possibly introduced to Florida from the Old World
Habitat
Very wide tolerances. Usually nests in dead wood or under loose bark, occasionally under stones, but may be anywhere from ground level to the canopy.
