Unknown Fly - Xenox tigrinus

Sorry for the poor quality image, but this fly came and landed in an obscure place in a cattail stand. I didn't have a clear shot at it. It was rather large, very black, and the wings seem to be pretty distinctive. I've never seen one there before.
