I lightened the other image,
but my N.H. pictures are still a lighter individual.

They were small
In the 3-4mm range.

 
Catonia pumila
This is one of the smallest and palest in the genus. You can see the wing banding much more easily in the face view than in the side view, which is a rather dark shot.

Catonia
Lovely photos - face and all - but I still can't decide; it keys to a much lighter species. It would be helpful to have an estimated size.
