Cheilosia? - Eumerus - female

Cheilosia? - Eumerus - Female
Dearborn, Wayne County, Michigan, USA
September 17, 2007
Size: <5mm
I was photographing some small dark metallic bees on asters (Lassioglossum, I think), when this fly appeared. It looked very much like the bees. It sort of reminds me of a syrphid in the tribe Xylotini, or perhaps the genus Cheilosia, but I'm not sure I'm barking up the right tree. Any guidance would be appreciated!
