Found: undescribed teneral - Eleates depressus
Jefferson Notch area, Coos County, New Hampshire, USA
Size: about 5.7 mm
This newly eclosed adult should close the ID loop for Eleates depressus larvae. It eclosed the afternoon or evening of Sept. 16, 2007 but I didn't shoot it till the next morning (this morning). It was a good deal more pale when I first saw it.

I checked on the other two larvae as well. Both are still eating. I'm inclined to wait till the larger one has pupated (by which time the smaller one will have gained in size) before preserving both for their official description by Kojun Kanda and associates.
