Elaphrus americanus, i suppose
though i wish the pix were taken at least a year later :-]
Moved from Marsh Ground Beetles.

I looked for these last year
but came up empty. I'll try to find them again this year at the same location, and get better photos.

Elaphrus species
There's one in the Guide. They like moist habitats such as mud flats or damp woods. Reminds me of a miniature tiger beetle.

Thanks Robin, I'll move it over.
